Lighting: Place the Philodendron Red Congo in bright, indirect light for optimal growth, avoiding direct sunlight which can scorch its leaves.

Watering: Allow soil to just dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Stick your finger into the soil to check its moisture level or use our moisture meter to take the guesswork out.

Potting mix: Use a well-draining potting mix like our Fafard potting soil when repotting.

Temperature: Maintain a warm environment between 18-24°C avoiding drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.

Humidity: Provide moderate to high humidity levels and consider misting the plant or using a humidity tray to create a favorable atmosphere.

Fertilization: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season. We recommend our Sultz 10-15-10 . Reduce or cease fertilization in fall and winter.
